Far & Son (Father & Son), an interactive tree house, 1998.
Materials: wood, asphalt cardboard, plexiglass, photographs, armature, sound detector.
Size: 200 x 200 x 500 centimeters.

A tree house.
Visitors can enter the tree house. Inside, three photographs are mounted on sheets of transparent plexiglass. The images depict the hands of three generations of father and son. An armature is mounted behind the plexiglass. The armature is connected to a light organ, controlled by the sound the visitor makes.
Sound = flickering light
Silence = darkness

Far & Son has been exhibited at Vantaa Museum of Art, Finland, 1998 and at Södertälje Museum of Art, Relationer (Relations) 2003
